Nestled in the heart of Columbia, SC, my story began over 47 years ago, surrounded by the serene beauty of creeks, a short stroll to tranquil ponds, and an hour's walk from a majestic river. My earliest memories are rich with experiences of foraging for wild berries, plums, and wild grapes, and learning about the natural treasures of the woodlands.

As a child, playful days were spent in the creeks, where the joys of discovering crayfish, tadpoles, and small fish were endless. My area as a child, teemed with wildlife, was my playground and classroom, nurturing a deep and lasting connection with nature.
